Week 3 - Infographics


The video demonstrate very effectively use of various colours of water to represented different part of region in the world, it show and explain the concept of water drop inside (births)/ water running down (deaths) and use of simple picture and texts, the format of tubes layout next to each other appear like diagram and later use of graph to show the increase of population help clearly understand for views.


The size of the circles represented the spending and also use of various colours to identify different countries, use of line to follow position of the different category stand for which countries. The various colours can be use into crysis the change of colours to represent raw data depending on a variable.


The use of effectively symbol to indicate the mean, which can translate into crysis Explain the amount of light frequency flashing to indicate of the variable of the data represented in analytics engine.

Week 1 - Independent Study

Temperature and Light Sensor Feed

Collects data from a photo resistor and temperature sensor every second that is then fed from Arduino to processing and relayed to pachube for graphical viewing of real time data.

For Responsive Solar Panel Facade -
Temperature - Determines the colour of LED.
Light - Opening/ Closing of panel.

Time - Determines Angle of panel.

My concept is to create a scene that trigger when an objects engaging and interact with respond. Example light changing in different colours, brighter when something comes toward and device performance some kind of task.
